Christina Redfern (Owner)
Christina is the creator of Rise and Thrive Psychiatric Services and a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to adults. With over ten years in the field of psychiatry, Christina possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients and families.
Christina follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. As a PMHNP, Christina’s role is multifaceted, including educator, mental health advocate, prescriber, and scientist.
Christina values interdisciplinary education and inter-professional collaboration for a whole person, patient centered approach to health and wellness.
Christina is always advocating for innovations in healthcare and has special interests in the integration of behavioral medicine, trauma informed care, substance use prevention and addressing wellness.
